Hi! I’m Ashleigh Rich. I’m a mom of 2 toddlers who happen to be 15 months apart (and no, we did not plan that), a huge Bible nerd, and a person who probably liked school too much (which is why I have a BA and a Masters in Theology). When I was 15, I wanted to be the church sex talk lady. I still have not accomplished that goal, but hey, a girl can dream.
I originally started this website as a blog when I was in my mid-twenties and wrote mostly about theology, relationships, marriage, sexuality, and dating. Then I took a five-year hiatus from blogging because I was working full time and using my writing skills in my job (figured I would use my energy where I was actually making money). I also walked through an 18 month infertility journey in that time and then had two kids closer together than I would have planned them myself (because God has a sense of humor).
Now, I’m a freelance writer. This website is mostly a portfolio of my past writing and a place where you can sign up for my monthly newsletter if you’re interested in what I’m thinking about these days. I also have a devotional I self-published on Amazon you can check out, and (hopefully) more devotionals for purchase in the future. I might also write a new blog post now and then, but with two toddlers running around, ain’t nobody got (much) time for that.
